Food Hunt @ Houston - Day 4 (Last Day)

Today was our last day and we were looking forward to have China famous Haidilao hotpot for lunch. We reached there at 11:30am and ate for 2 hours. 

As you can see our table was full with array of ingredients. Jazz kept choosing and I was like you think we can finis it? 🤦🙈😅😂 He proved me wrong as he ended up finishing it. He need to go on a diet 😅.

Then after our hearty meal we headed next door to Kinokuniya. We looked around inside and JY bought some books. 

After that, we went to have some cold desert because it was too hot.(37°c felt like 41°c) The dessert shop we went to was a Taiwanese dessert shop called MeetFresh. 

At last we found one Taiwanese dessert shop. 

We ordered and shared red bean milk shaved ice, almond pudding with red bean, strawberry slush and iced lemon black tea.

I lkie the red bean milk shaved ice but not the almond pudding. My iced lemond black tea is good too. JY said her strawberry slush was good too and it came with aiyu and not boba which she likes.

Next we decide head for early dinner. As today was our last day we decided to head back to PappaRich for Malaysian food. The waiter recognized us and gave us yellow watermelon for free. 😊

We did takeaway too from PappaRich for later. 🙈😅😋 We ordered curry fishball, satay and Malaysian style chiken wings. 

With this our food hunt at Houston ended. Overall it was a good experience and it'll be memorable for us as we get to spend some time together eating, talking and laughing. We had lots of fun but the weather was what got us. It's really tired to walk so much in the hot scorching 🥵 sun. It felt like oven. But overall it's worth it.
