Food Hunt @ Houston - Day 3
Today we went out a bit late by the time we reached the Houston Zoo it was already 11:05am and it was pack woth people. There were lots of things to see but at the same time there were quite a lot of empty enclosure. I think it's due to the hot temperature that all the animals went into hiding. The weather was 35°c but feels like 40°c. At first I did enjoyed the walk but after an hour in the hot weather I really can't take it anymore. 😅😭 So after spending two hours we gave up and went for lunch.
We went for Sze Chuan lunch at 13:40pm. We were tired and hungry. JY basically looks like a deflated balloon. 😅😂😂😂 But luckily after lunch she was back to her usual perky self.
After lunch as the weather was scorching hot 🥵 we decided to have shave ice. I thought we were going for Taiwanese dessert shop but I was wrong. It was a Korean dessert shop called Bing Su Korean Dessert Cafe.
I had mango
JY had strawberry and
Jazz had original
It was not bad and I preferred Jazz original as I like it best. Mine mango was too sour for my taste buds. JY still like her strawberry more. 😂
Since we had late lunch and still full from dessert we decided to tapow crawfish. We ordered from Gao's Crab. You can customize your order according to your preference. So we chose to crawfish, shrimp, mushroom and potatoes in 13 spices Chinese style and for spiciness we choose medium. It was lip-smacking. 😋
